Community Service Alive and Well at St Charles Borromeo!

Congratulations to Alessia and Alexia for taking it upon themselves during the school holidays to doorknock around Alessia’s neighbourhood to raise money for Project Compassion. We are so proud of you for living out the school values of care, empathy and responsibility. The money raised has been added to our school collection and will be directly donated to Caritas Australia. Well done again ladies!

“It does not take much to help. We think as young children our future will be great but things may change. You never know if you may become poor. We loved learning about Project Compassion at St Charles Borromeo, because we see how lucky we are to have warm beds and nice houses! It is important to help people that are poor.” (Alexia and Alessia 3/4C)

  1. Well done, girls! I was so impressed when you told me yesterday that you had collected money for Caritas. You are helping so many people around the world by your kindness. Certainly living the way Jesus asks us to!
