Congratulations to the Tee Ball Team for the way you played every game and kept improving. Your teamwork was great, thinking about the game and how to respond to the oppositions’ play. You should be very proud. I was!

How are we all enjoying Book week! In 5/6M we are doing some art projects. First we did a project on the book Mechanica. Today we read Gary and we did a birds eye view of what it would be like to fly. Here are some pictures of our work.
Recently the 5/6’s went on an excursion to the Old Treasury Building and the Parliament House!
We learnt about the history of Australia and the culture of our people. It was the greatest adventure we have had yet!
Parliament house was really fascinating. One thing that I noticed is that there was a lot of gold throughout the building. At the time they built the parliament house it was THE GOLD RUSH in Victoria.
On Wednesday the 14th, two wonderful students from grade 6 represented our school at the Rotary Speech Competition. It was held at our school hall. Congratulations to Elena and Alyssa for giving a good speech in front of a large audience.
Today the year 6’s went on a Confirmation Retreat at St Kevin’s Parish.

Hi, my name is Keira and I’m doing the final report from camp. I had a great time. My favourite part was when I jumped off the Leap of Faith 12m high. I also liked pulling the string that releases you on the Giant Swing.
Now we have one more game to play and lunch. Then we all jump on the bus and head back home.
See you all later today!
We have just finished our final outdoor activity for the day. My group did archery practice. Everyone did really well and we all found it electrifying.
This was the first meal we had for our camp! It was very exciting to come together as a year level after a big day. We did many exciting things today such as visiting the Enchanted Maze and doing archery at camp. The best activity I did today was the Leap of Faith! Now we are going on a bush walk! Good night.
Today we had our first dance lesson with Terri for our school concert. It was really fun and exciting to learn our moves. Here is a video of 5/6SC learning their dance moves.
Today Father Ray and Father Jordan came to St Charles to talk to us about all types of values. He gave us information about kindness and we discussed world issues such as terrorism and how we feel about it.
