New Futsal Information

If you look through our blog, you will find information about futsal. I am know going to tell you more about the event.

On Friday the 26th of August, the 2 teams of 7 players will be going to the Bundoora Sports Complex to play in an all day futsal tournament against teams from Serpells, some semi-pro soccer clubs and more school teams from around Manningham.

Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to do the lapathon. It is a shame because the lapathon sounds like a great idea.

We can’t wait for this event. Comment below if you want to ask more questions or if you want to wish us luck.

Rounders Final

IMG_3689Yesterday, the Year 5/6 girls rounders team played in their final against Serpells Primary School. The girls played very well and with courage against a very tough, skilled and experienced opponent! The friendly match they played at the end was fun and allowed the teams to mix up and get to know the Year 5/6 Serpells girls. One student even recognised Alessia from kinder!!! Well done to the girls rounders team, you did St Charles proud!

Cross Country Trials

There was sunshine, then rain, then heavier rain, sunshine and finally goats.  Yes! Yesterday’s Cross Country Trials at St Charles definitely had it all.

The weather held for us to complete all of the 9/10 and 11 year old trials.  12+ yo trials will be conducted either Friday 8/5 or Tuesday  12/5 (weather permitting).

The 11 year old race was held up briefly when 2 goats got excited seeing the children run past. They squeezed through under the fence and begin running in the race.

Here are the trial placings (link).

District Cross Country is on 21 May 2015 @ Ruffey Lake Park
